Polynomial curve of constant width

The curve defined by

[math]\displaystyle{ p(\phi) = a\cdot cos(k\cdot\phi/2)+b }[/math]

in polar form is smooth and of constant width for odd values of [math]\displaystyle{ k }[/math].
