Graphical Exercises with JSXGraph using MUMIE

Abstract

This talk is about graphical exercises in which the student solves the task by interacting with the graphics. Such tasks strengthen the students’ ability to understand mathematical terms and concepts by actively linking the definitions and analytical expressions with the corresponding geometric objects.

We will present a small variety of our examples of such graphical exercises. The exercises are written in the MUMIE-framework which uses JSXGraph for its interactive visualizations, and can be embedded into Moodle or ILIAS via plugin.
